Serving for over 40 years in pastoral ministry with 35 years as the Lead Pastor of Hill Bible
Church Austin, Tim has moved into a new phase of ministry. Continuing to give his life to
saturating our city, our nation, and our world with the good news of Jesus following the vision of
Acts 1:8, he mobilizes and collaborates with gospel saturation and disciple-making movements.
While at Hill Country, by God’s grace and provision, they formed the Association of Hill Country
Churches, which has collectively planted 42 churches in the Greater Austin area. Tim was
instrumental in founding and currently serves on the city and national boards of Christ Together,
a city and national cooperative movement of churches and kingdom leaders, unifying churches
to saturate their cities with the gospel. Tim also serves on the board of Via Nations with the
vision of reaching the nations through the nations, catalyzing sending movements within non-
Western countries with significant Christian populations. Over the years, he has enjoyed training
international church planters, serving on the Board of East-West Ministries International, and
collaborating with Exponential and other disciple-making ministries to develop multiplying
churches. Tim and his wife Cindy have 5 adult children and 6 grandchildren. As a couple, they
are personally committed to saturating Greater Austin and beyond with the love of Jesus –
loving and serving their neighbors, building strong community, and making disciples who make
disciples.

What is a Virtual Global Symposium?
A Two Hour Interactive Learning Experience for Church Leaders
The 6:4 Fellowship’s Virtual Global Symposium is a gathering of leaders, to discuss a particular topic in biblical ministry, presented on the Zoom platform. The 6:4 Fellowship uses nationally known speakers to address these topics from their specific church, para-church, or ministry experiences. Each presentation, and any application, is then discussed by those in attendance in break-out rooms, broken out by geographical regions and roles in their present ministries.
These sessions have been very insightful for those in full-time ministry bringing different perspectives, ideas, and inspiration for them to apply in their local settings. The Virtual Global Symposium is also a great opportunity to fellowship with like-minded leaders around relevant ministry topics.
