Mike Mitchener is the Senior Pastor of Riverview Baptist Church in Ripplemead, VA. Mike was a successful leader in the business community before transitioning to full-time ministry shortly after his salvation. He and his wife Stephanie, along with three other couples, founded Westside Fellowship in Elon, North Carolina, which he faithfully pastored for 20 years. In October 2020, Mike accepted the call to return to his native Giles County,  Virginia to pastor his long-established home church: Riverview Baptist Church. Mike is committed to seeing the corporate Body of Christ realize its access to the incredible and indispensable power of God to fulfill the great commandment and great commission through unified prayer and the ministry of the Word.
