Every genuine minister wants to be more equipped in the work of ministry. However, we can far too easily turn to methods that directly undermine the nature of this spiritual work. After following Jesus and observing his life, the disciples understood the real source of His ministry. This is why their only request in ministry equipping was simply, “Lord, teach us to pray” (Luke 11:1).

The Day of Renewal Regional Events are designed to inspire and equip you in building a supernaturally empowered ministry. This is a great opportunity for your entire leadership team to find practical tools and a fresh vision for a ministry powered by prayer.

All of our Day of Renewal events feature local churches and pastors that have seen exceptional growth and impact in the area of prayer.  You will hear from local church pastors who are modeling what they are teaching, and will give you practical insight to help you succeed in your ministry context.

We are excited to partner with Pastor Jeremy Morton and First Baptist Church Woodstock for this one day gathering on Tuesday, November 7th, 2023. This experience will conclude with a church-wide prayer meeting, providing you with first hand experience of what a vibrant culture of prayer could look like in your setting.

Bill Elliff

Bill Elliff is the founder and National Engage Pastor of The Summit Church in Little Rock, Arkansas. His passion is to see both genuine revival and methodological renewal in the church—both new wine and new wineskins. He is a frequent conference speaker, writer, and consultant to churches drawing from his 50+ years of pastoring and revival ministry. Bill is also the Pastor/Church Director for OneCry! A Nationwide Call for Spiritual Awakening and the author of fifteen books and booklets and numerous articles. He lives to faithfully and effectively communicate the whole counsel of God to as many people as possible through preaching, writing, church development, and personal equipping that they may become intimate, reproducing disciples of Jesus Christ.

Dennis Henderson

Dennis Henderson left the senior pastorate after 54 years of pastoring to become the North America Director for The 6:4 Fellowship. He continues to consult with his home church, Northlake Church in Lago Vista, Texas, as the Pastor of Kingdom Advancement and Prayer. He and Billie have been married since 1965, and have four adult children and nine grandchildren. Billie and Dennis have a passion to help ministry couples and support the ministry of prayer in the local church through The 6:4 Fellowship.

Jeremy Morton

Jeremy Morton

Jeremy has been preaching since the age of 16. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Christianity from Brewton Parker College in 2004, a Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2007, and a Doctorate of Ministry in Expository Preaching from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2022. Jeremy and his wife, Carrie are lifelong Georgia residents who were church planters in the central part of the state for many years. Since the fall of 2018, Jeremy has been serving as the lead pastor at First Baptist Church Woodstock. Previously, he was the senior pastor of Cartersville First Baptist Church for five years. Jeremy also served as senior pastor at Cross Point Baptist Church in Perry, Georgia since its inception in 2002.

Paul Purvis has been a lead pastor for nearly 20 years, serving the last 8 in the greater Tampa area at Mission Hill Church. The priority of prayer has been evident throughout Paul’s ministry at Mission Hill. In addition to daily staff prayer and a weekly all-church prayer gathering, Mission Hill has created a Prayer Pastor position and hosts an annual 40 Days of Prayer & Fasting leading up to Easter. This profound commitment to prayer has multiplied the ministry of Mission Hill Church and through this, God has shown His faithfulness over and over again.
